Innovating Patient 360: The Power of Data Products in Shaping Next-Generation Healthcare

Patient data has always played a pivotal role in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry. From identifying care gaps and addressing high-risk situations to creating targeted marketing programs and reducing costs – patient data is at the core of it all. Traditionally patient data includes personal data, medical history, electronic health records (EHR), service history, claims data, patient feedback on their own health and more.

In the industry, the collation of this relevant patient data into “one source of truth” is referred to as Patient 360. Building a Patient 360 is however no easy feat. The data is often found across multiple source systems, can follow multiple standards and formats (structured and unstructured), at varying degrees of quality and is generally difficult to use together.

Furthermore, the wide emergence of digital health relevant patient data such as wearables and remote healthcare service has added to the complexity of building a comprehensive and valuable Patient 360 that is still cost effective.

In this webinar, we will showcase how a traditional patient 360 built as a network of interoperable data products can tackle this complexity – one use case at a time. Using real industry examples, we will follow the entire journey from Patient 360 to use cases to data products and how this approach allowed us to handle the tricky parts of managing data, keeping costs down, and making sure everything was able to connect and work together.

By the conclusion of this webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Understand what data products are and how to use data product to achieve Patient 360.
  • Discover and recognize various use cases for Patient 360 across an interconnected landscape of patients, payers, and providers in a modern healthcare journey.
  • Gain an introduction to interoperability practices utilizing FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) standards setting the stage for enhanced data exchange and integration.

Any burning questions? You’ll have the opportunity to ask in a live Q&A session after the webinar.
